They called my 12 year old phone pretending to be from HMRC, wanting to talk to me. Not impressed at all, one very annoyed mum here.

I had a rather peculiar phone call earlier. The callers purported to be from HMRC, and when I enquired how they obtained my number, they insisted it was sourced from my employer. I found it quite amusing to point out that this number actually belongs to my 12-year-old. All of a sudden, they ended the conversation rather abruptly! Quite suspicious, I’d say.
