I recently received a call that went a bit like this: "Hello, is that Mrs (My surname)?" "Yes." "My name’s Kate, I’m the area manager for..." And then, just like that, the line disconnects. A few moments later, it flashed up saying ‘the other person has disconnected’. I haven’t called back yet, which I find rather peculiar if it's a legitimate call. That said, I’m reserving judgement for the time being.

This number didn’t ring properly. The call disconnected on its own. When I tried to return the call, all I got was some recorded tunes.
