I got a call about some home appliance insurance, sounded dodgy to me. When I calmly mentioned that I wasn’t sure he was being honest, he just ended the call straight away. Definitely felt like a scam.

On my BT landline on 23 Nov 2020, I got a call from 0115 6920026 which turned out to be a scam like the ones people here have mentioned - all about some fake washing machine warranty that doesn’t exist. Told them plenty of times I don’t have any and hung up. Later, another call comes through after a long pause with a foreign voice trying to confirm my details. Total waste of time again. I blocked 1572 and reported to BT as scams.

They kept calling saying they needed to verify my service PAN, trying to get my account info!

Got a call from some guy named Richard claiming he’s the warranty man, said we owe nothing for any warranties - which is rubbish cos we don’t even have any with them. Yet another scam, these calls are driving me mad!

My TV warranty was supposed to be expired, but they claimed it wasn't. I wasn’t having any of it, so I just told them to get lost and then blocked their number straight away.
