He went on about extending warranties for several of my gadgets and cited a couple of instances. But let's be honest, this isn’t the real Domestic and General; it feels more like a clever ruse to fish for my payment information.

Got a call from someone who said they were from Domestic and General, asking about renewing the warranty on my washing machine and used my name. When I asked him how long he thought I’d had the machine, he just ended the call. Looks like they’re trying to scam you into handing over your payment info.

I’ve told TPS about this lot loads of times now. I’m actually with Domestic and General, and my policy just renews by itself. These calls aren’t from them though - it’s some other home insurance firm pretending they are, trying to scam you out of your bank info.
