I got a call from someone saying they were from O2 and that they had a special deal or discount for me.

The Curry Sales Team (supposedly) offered a brand new iPhone 13 Max for just £32 a month, which sounded pretty legit at first. They even claimed they’d cover the cost of your existing contract so you could switch to a new deal. They asked for a £40 refundable deposit too, just enough that most people might hand it over without thinking twice. I asked them to send me the details by email, but the message was riddled with poor grammar and the email address, although close to Curry’s official one, was slightly off. This scam almost caught me out - it’s quite a sneaky trick!
