I found it rather perplexing when this person rang up claiming to be from O2 Network. The thing is, I'm with another provider entirely.

Caller said, "This is O2 calling you..." but the line had a weird echo and lag. I was like, "Nah, this isn’t really O2." Then they said, "We’ll send you an official message..." but honestly, I doubt O2 customer support would ever speak to someone like that, telling me to ‘listen!’ So I just hung up. Pretty clear they wanted me to respond to some text they were about to send.

Sounds like a scam to me. The guy was really hard to understand and then said he was from the 02 network, but I’m actually with another provider. I just ended the call straight away.

Every time I get a call from a Nottingham number, it’s always someone speaking in an Asian language and it’s tough to catch what they’re saying. When I ask them to repeat or explain, they hang up straight away. I’m pretty convinced the firm behind it is actually from India and probably using spoofed numbers.
