I received a call just a short while ago claiming they could help reduce my Vodafone bill and even suggested an upgrade for my phone. However, the individual on the line didn’t come across as very professional at all.

I received a phone call from a woman claiming to be from Nottingham, but her accent suggested otherwise-definitely didn't sound local. She mentioned some discount available with Vodaphone, but as I’m actually an o2 customer, I found it rather amusing! Cheerio!

This morning, I decided to block a certain number after I received a call I chose not to pick up. Oddly enough, even with it blocked, I got another call on my car's system this afternoon whilst I was driving! The voice on the other end sounded American and was probably pre-recorded. It started with, "Thank you for calling ?????" (which I definitely hadn’t). Then, it instructed me to "press 9 if you wish to stop receiving further calls." Naturally, I complied. It ended with a polite, "Thank you for your time; we won’t trouble you again." However, shortly after that, I realised I was still on the line and had to hit "End" to disconnect. It seemed pressing "9" inadvertently initiated an outgoing call that continued running until I hung up. Who knows how long it could've gone on for if I hadn’t caught it in time! Just a word of caution to everyone out there!!!

I received a call from a woman claiming to represent the O2 promotions team, mistakenly believing I was one of their customers. She proceeded to inquire about the signal quality of O2 in my locality. Honestly, it didn't take a psychic to figure out that she was up to no good.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Three, my mobile provider. When I mentioned I wasn’t keen on any promotions, he got quite confrontational! Definitely a scam, that one.

Claimed to be calling from Vodafone, but it was obvious he was just trying to pull a fast one! Total scammer!

Someone was trying to pull a fast one by posing as a Vodafone representative. They feigned the need to send a one-time password but then casually shifted the conversation toward gathering my personal information instead, asking for sensitive details. Quite crafty, if you ask me!

Received a call earlier today from a number claiming to be from Scotland, but honestly, it sounded as if it originated from Mumbai instead. Clearly a scam! The caller pretended to be from Vodafone, offering a bill discount. The thing is, I'm on a pay-as-you-go plan with Vodafone, so I don't even have a bill in the first place. I cut the call short, but they’ve now attempted to reach me again from a Nottingham number, +44 115 647 6464. I've just ended the call again and blocked them once more!

I received a rather suspicious phone call from a lady with a foreign accent, claiming that I was entitled to a £269 refund for mobile phone insurance because the company, Online Support Ltd, had ceased operations. She even had the audacity to ask for my card details, specifically mentioning a card ending in 3618, which I can assure you, is not one of mine. It struck me how convincing she was, but I firmly believe in safeguarding my financial information. I requested that she send me an email instead. This was the second time they’ve tried to reel me in. Definitely a bunch of SCAMMERS! Be very cautious, folks!

I received a rather dubious call from a woman pretending to be from O2, inquiring about our satisfaction with their service - a bit odd, considering we don't even use them! She began prattling on about various offers, but when we politely declined, she turned quite hostile. In a rather unprofessional manner, she let out a loud grunt before abruptly ending the call. It's astonishing how lacking in wit some of these scammers can be; her performance was certainly lacking!

Received a call from someone claiming to be from Vodafone, touting a special deal on a new contract. The peculiar thing is, I recently signed up for a contract directly with the real Vodafone, and this person seemed totally oblivious to that fact. Clearly a scam.

I just had a run-in with a couple of calls myself not long ago. The first was from an 0131 number, followed by a subsequent one from 0115. They claimed to be from Vodafone, touting some sort of discount deal. Quite the coincidence, I must say!

A bloke named Harry just rang me up, claiming he was from Currys PC World. I explicitly told him I wasn't keen on whatever he was selling and to refrain from calling me again. Before I could even finish my thought, he had already cut the line.

I had a right palaver with these clowns the other day! They rang my mobile in the UK, chirping on about a myriad of offers and deals. When they asked me to verify my name, I cheekily replied, "Alright then, what do you reckon my name is?" To my astonishment, this Pakistani woman rattled off a completely different name! I had no patience for it and told her where to go before slamming the phone down. Funny enough, they had the audacity to ring me back from a different number, this time seemingly suggesting I might be interested in purchasing a wife (or so I gather). Naturally, I’ve blocked that number without a second thought!
