Utterly fraudulent debt consolidation companies! Just received a call from them about an hour back, claiming they could slash an unsecured debt I supposedly have by half. The reality is, I don’t have any debts at all!

Really thankful I found this page. My phone warns me when a call is a scam, so I just let it ring, which is probably what I would have done anyway with unknown numbers. It’s handy though to see who’s actually calling. I’ve blocked the number now.

This number’s definitely a con, they pretend to be from some debt company.

Got a call from National Debt Advisory Service today. Told them I wasn’t interested and that I’d already dealt with my debts, asked to be taken off their calling list. The bloke was quite polite actually, said “no problem” and thanks. We’ll wait and see if they ring back again from the same number, but I’ve gone ahead and blocked it just in case.
