They said they were calling from Vodafone trying to get me to upgrade my plan, but I told them I’m not even a Vodafone customer. I asked them to take me off their calling list, but the moment I started to speak, they just ended the call. Very strange!

This bloke said he was from O2, trying to sell me a deal that sounded way too good. When I told him I wasn’t even with O2 and asked how he got my number, he just told me to basically f*** off. Honestly, I took it as a win that I managed to annoy a scammer that much...

I got a call from someone claiming to be O2, saying they had a 40% discount deal for my monthly contract. Thing is, they rang my son's pay-as-you-go phone, which isn't even on O2's network. Didn't seem to bother them though. I told them to get lost right away.

I recently received a rather dubious call from someone claiming to be from EE, offering me a supposed phone upgrade. They were rather insistent on me providing my credit card information to "process the offer for my benefit." It’s quite clear they’re targeting the elderly. Please, whatever you do, do not share your credit card details - they’re looking to clean out your bank account! 🚫📞

Looks like I've stumbled upon a pesky number. It rang me four times in quick succession, and I picked up on two occasions. Strangely enough, the caller just hung up both times as soon as I responded. After that, I thought it best to ignore any further calls. What a bother!

Got a ring from this number claiming to be O2, offering to lower my phone bill. Funny thing is, just before that, I got a legit text from O2 with a one-time code for logging in, which I never asked for - like someone tried to reset my password. The caller never asked for me by name either. I just ended the call and told O2 about it, and they said it was a spam attempt. If you get calls like this, you can report them to O2 by texting CALL to 7726.
