Somebody rang saying they were from the housing repairs team and wanted to know if my place was council or privately owned. I asked why she didn’t know that already if she had my number, but she said she only had my phone number and needed me to tell her. I told her that if it was genuine, they’d have that info already. She couldn’t even give me any proper details or say my name. I ended the call and blocked the number. Long story short: they only had my number, no other info, and it’s clearly just a trick to gather personal details. Best to just ignore and block.
