This number's dodgy, called me a couple of times but whenever I pick up and the answer machine starts, it just hangs up. Sounds like a scam to me.

Someone rang me claiming to be from a firm called Energy Hub, saying the British Lung Foundation had identified my loft insulation as hazardous. When I questioned them about how they knew what insulation I had, they said it was 'from our database.' It’s clearly a con, preying on people by scaring them with health risks related to their lungs. I’m going to report them to the Information Commissioner's Office - I’d advise others to do this too.

I usually just let unknown numbers go straight to voicemail, just to be safe. When this one called, they hung up right after the message kicked in - which is usually a red flag in my experience.

I didn’t pick up when they rang and got no message left on my voicemail, so it was likely some sort of telemarketing or a scam call.

Luckily, my call blocker caught this one, as I've been getting a few calls from this number and some that look almost the same. I reckon these are just scams or dodgy attempts, so I treat em as a risk. Every time, I make sure to report them to Action Fraud and also add the numbers to the phone preference service registry.

this number just rang me but when i picked up they’d hung up, didnt recognise it at all, no mates or family have that number. if someone i dont know is using my number, its gotta be a scammer who’s got hold of it somehow. it feels like the government should do something about all these scam calls happening. once a number gets out there, it seems to get shared about and you end up getting endless annoying calls and bother from dodgy people.
