When I picked up the call, all I got was utter quiet.

They claim to represent O2 and are touting a rather tempting 40% discount. However, I suspect their real aim is to snatch away my account details.

It all kicked off with the standard introductory line of "Ma'am, how do you do?" But there was this odd pause before he got to the second part of his spiel. I shot back with, "You’re not genuinely concerned; you’re just after my hard-earned cash!" and promptly hung up, blocking the number straight away. Terrible individuals, honestly. I wouldn't say I'm prejudiced, but it’s worth noting that these callers usually have that distinct foreign accent-another clear sign, if you ask me.
