I got a call from the number (01147001528), and as soon as I answered, there was this automated message saying "you will be arrested if you don’t contact us or if your solicitor doesn’t get in touch." When I rung them back, someone picked up and asked what the problem was. I told them I got a call telling me to ring them back. The person then asked if I’d been given any reference number, which I said no to. After that, they started asking for my personal info, but I wasn’t comfortable sharing anything since I had no idea who they were or why they called me. So I just ended the call.

Got a recorded call from some American sounding voice saying they were from HMRC. They said I owed money and told me that either me or my lawyer had to ring them back or I'd get into trouble with the law. Totally sounded like a scam to me.
