Just like some of you, I had no idea my phone had rung till I saw the missed call and then got a voicemail. It was an American lady saying some 'investigator Dennis Grey' wants me to ring back either him or my solicitor. Honestly, don’t just delete or ignore the message, they warn of possible trouble if you do. Sounds like one of those HMRC scams to me.

Got a robotic voicemail then rang back and this person with an Asian accent started asking for my personal info. I told them to stop and called them a scammer, then they just cut the call.

Got a call supposedly from HM Revenue and Customs, but the voice was some sort of weird, robotic American accent. They even rang my 15-year-old son! Seriously, don’t bother returning the call, it’s definitely a scam!!!

Had this robotic voice telling me to ring HMRC back or else there’d be trouble! Completely bonkers - best just to hang up and forget about it.

Got a call saying it was from HMRC, threatening me with legal action if I didn’t pay up. Sounds fishy to me, obviously just one of those scams trying to scare you into handing over money. Be careful, don’t fall for it!

Just let it ring through to voicemail. Got a call from someone pretending to be "Officer Dennis Gray" from HMRC, even though it was a woman's voice on the line! They threatened me with consequences if I or my lawyer didn't ring them back. I've already reported it to HM Revenue and Customs. Everyone should report these dodgy calls so they can catch the scammers.

It started with some bloke named Henry Joe ringing me, now I’ve got this voicemail about taxes left on my phone. Quite odd!

Got a message from someone named Dennis Gray, said he’s a Senior Investigator with the Queen’s Bench Division at the High Court. The message said there’s some legal action against me and I need to ring back right away or they’d start court proceedings. So I called, and they said I’m being investigated for tax evasion and that I ignored a letter they allegedly left on my doorstep. Bit worrying but sounded dodgy to me.

Got a call just before 9 in the morning, which is clearly outside of normal work hours. The message was from someone calling themselves Officer Dennis Gray, telling me or my lawyer to get in touch right away or there would be some sort of 'legal consequenses'. It sounded like a woman speaking, but I’m pretty sure it was a prerecorded message. Definitely felt dodgy to me.

I normally just don’t pick up if I don’t know the number. Reading what people have said here makes me happy I stuck to that. Also, I can’t imagine HMRC ringing anyone that early in the morning, like at eight o’clock. Seems pretty unlikely to me.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise so I didn’t pick up. Later, I got a voicemail saying it was from HMRC and not to ignore the message. The caller said his name was Dennis Gray. This is actually the second time I’ve had a call from them.

Never even managed to pick up and have a listen. Bit iffy that the local and area codes match and the digits look a lot like a call I got the day before, which was marked as risky.

I saw the number but didn’t pick up since it wasn’t familiar. Later, I got a voicemail from an American lady telling me to ring back that number. It was all prerecorded and she warned me not to erase the message or I’d get into trouble. Seems pretty dodgy to me.
