This number keeps ringing me nonstop every day. I block it but then they just switch to another one and keep phoning. I tried calling back once and some woman with a Geordie accent said she was from Shell Energy. It's honestly getting so annoying now, and I’m almost to the point where I might have to change my phone number, which I really don’t want to do. I even turned on “silence unknown callers” but still, the calls don’t stop.

some bloke rang me, stayed quiet for a bit then suddenly said hi and called me by name like he knew me well. i asked who it was and he said he was from some gas energy company. i was like, how do you have my number and why you ringing me? he kept going on that it was about the property I live at and mentioned my town. i asked again how he got my info and why he was calling me, then he started getting rude and swearing. i just hung up and blocked the number straight away. i only picked up cos i’m job hunting right now so have to answer unknown calls. total scammer!

They keep calling more than three times a day now, but I haven’t answered since they usually phone while I’m at work.

I just spoke to a woman from a charity, she rang to see if I’d be interested in making a donation. I said yes, and was glad it turned out to be a genuine call. Usually I get loads of scam calls, so it was refreshing to have a pleasant chat.
