This number keeps ringing me almost daily but no one ever speaks when I answer. I looked it up online and it’s connected to SAAFA based in Northern Ireland. I reckon they’re hoping folks will call them back and end up footing the bill, probably so they can pitch their charity. It doesn’t seem right to me. If they’re after donations, they ought to cover the costs of getting in touch first. Doing it this way will probably annoy more people than it wins over.

This number rang me earlier but I couldn’t pick up, so I decided to ring back. A really courteous guy answered and mentioned that a mate of his was trying to reach me. Kinda creepy that he knew my name straight away. He said it was about life insurance for people over 50. I told him I wasn’t interested and asked them to take my details off their list. He said sorry about that. It's sketchy they already had my name when I never asked about life insurance before.
