I’m usually pretty cautious with calls from numbers I don’t know or wasn’t expecting. I don’t pick up unless I’m sure it’s someone I’m waiting for. But once, I did ring back, and the message said to hold on for the next available agent. From the voice, I guessed it was probably a car insurance scam again. To me, if it’s serious, they’d leave a voicemail. In my experience, unknown numbers or unexpected calls are usually scams. I ended the call after about 20 seconds.
