Yesterday I got a call where the person was threatening to have me arrested. When I asked for their info so I could report them to the police, they just cut the call on me.

I received a call from this number and they left a rather alarming voicemail, asserting they were from the HMRC and warning of dire repercussions over unpaid taxes. If I hadn't already known the state of my finances, such a message might have sent anyone into a frenzy. I do wonder how those behind this can rest easy at night knowing the distress they’re causing.

Got a text supposedly from HMRC but its a scam. Dont bother calling that number, block it straight away. It’s a premium rate line and if you do answer, they try to get your bank details to pay fake debts supposedly owed to HMRC.

About a couple mins ago i got a call saying i needed to call back right away. When i rang them up, this person told me i was in trouble for tax fraud and that the police would be visiting to arrest me and serve some legal papers. Honestly, it was pretty terrifying.

Anyone who gets caught out by the person calling from this number really has my sympathy. I reckon it’s one of those premium rate calls, especially when they keep pushing for you or your lawyer to phone them back.
