I got a call similar to the others here. After I listened to the message, I rang them back and they said I was under investigation for fraud and that I’d be arrested soon. They also mentioned the police would be dropping off some kind of notice. Really disturbing stuff.

Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, said there was some legal action against me. The voice was this weird robotic woman and she kept telling me to press a button to chat with them. Total scam.

Just a tick ago, I got a rather odd voice message from this number. It was a robotic voice, speaking with that distinctive American twang, claiming to be Officer Stacey. The message insisted that I return the call straight away, emphasizing it was urgent and not to be shrugged off, or I’d be in a spot of bother. Naturally, it set off my alarm bells, so I decided to do a quick search online, and lo and behold, it’s been flagged as a nuisance call. How cheeky!
