I received a phone call from this number, claiming to be from Debenhams regarding an undelivered order. The chap on the line mentioned that I would receive a refund for the item, simply confirming my delivery address and expressing his apologies for the inconvenience caused by the delay.
Today, I decided to ring Debenhams’ customer service to inform them that my delivery finally arrived after a lengthy wait of 18 days, just last night. The representative confirmed that the call I received from this number was genuine and that a refund had indeed been processed. I let them know that since I now have the item in my possession, they can go ahead and charge me again for it.

He seemed to know all the details about the items, but it was quite clear he wasn’t actually representing Debenhams, so I decided to end the conversation and put the phone down.

You see, my parcel was meant to be delivered on the 15th of July but it never showed up. I took the initiative to get in touch with Debenhams' Head Office, believing my package was misplaced. Their customer service promptly shot an email over to the courier, and lo and behold, my order finally appeared on the 16th of July in the early hours. So, you can imagine my confusion when I received that phone call the following day, inquiring about a parcel that had already been delivered. Naturally, I found myself reaching out to Debenhams’ Head Office once again to clarify things with the chap who claimed my item hadn’t arrived. Quite the muddle, wasn't it?
