Got a call from someone claiming to be Sky, saying there was an issue with my internet router. They asked me to switch on my phone so they could fix it, then just suddenly ended the call.

A bloke called claiming to be with Sky. He reckoned there was an issue with my router and that some foreigner was trying to hack into it. He asked me to open Google on my phone then just ended the call.

Got called twice again by this guy, but from different numbers: 07006529231 and 07803661710. Then, just five minutes after that, I get a ring from Alex on 07790933921. When I answered, he asked if I knew who he was. I said, "Yeah, you’re that telecom bloke from Sheffield. Cheers, but I’m hanging up now." Fingers crossed that’s the last of it!

They claimed to be from Netflix but I ended the call while the message was still playing. Totally NOT Netflix, for sure.
