Today, I received a rather dodgy automated call from this number, claiming to be a mobile phone provider keen to sell me a new iPhone at an unbelievably low price. It’s clearly a scam, and I wouldn’t trust this number one bit. Just a word of caution to everyone out there-stay vigilant!

I frequently receive calls at my workplace from this and various other 0114 numbers hailing from Sheffield. I tend to ignore them, as they never leave a voicemail, but they seem to persistently ring at least three times most mornings, if not even more. I can only hope they'll tire of it eventually!

I received a call from someone purporting to be a telecom company trying to rope me into a new contract. The language barrier was immense; it was quite challenging to comprehend what they were saying. The call quality was dreadful, too. I decided to throw in some bogus information, and to my amusement, they promptly ended the call. They were requesting my name, address, bank account info, and card details. I’d suggest just blocking the number, or if you’re feeling cheeky, have a bit of fun with them!
