Got a message claiming to be from "Lloyds bank" with a code to verify an Amazon purchase worth £721. Thing is, I don’t even have an account with Lloyds! The number it came from was +447840146438. Seems dodgy to me.

Just got some texts from 01143606557 saying something about a transaction on my Amazon account via Lloyd's Bank. Thing is, I've never even had an account with Lloyds and haven’t ordered off Amazon in ages. Definitely a dodgy scam, so don't even think about replying - it’s not worth putting your phone or info at risk!

Looks like a total scam to me. They were pretending to be Lloyds Bank, sending fake OTPs about some Amazon order just to steal details. I'd stay clear of this phone number if I were you.

I got a message claiming to be from Lloyds, with a one-time code for a big payment to Amazon. Usually, when they send these codes, they don’t include any details about who it’s for or how much, so that raised alarm bells for me. I looked up the number they provided and it turned out to be a complete scam!

Got a text from 07597097862 pretending to be Lloyds Bank about some £721 payment to Amazon and a 5 min e code. They asked me to call 01143606557 if I didn’t know about it. Definitely looked like a bank scam to me.

Just got a call from a new number, feels like a total scam so watch out!

Got a text claiming to be from a bank that I don’t even have an account with. It had some kind of authorisation code and said if I hadn’t made the transaction, to ring a number starting with 0114. Odd thing is, the message came off a mobile number, not a proper bank line.
