3 yearsI received a message warning me to ring a number if I wanted to avoid bailiffs turning up at my house. I was really anxious since I’m struggling with debts, so I phoned without hesitation. An Indian man picked up but gave a false name and didn’t mention any company. He claimed the debt had been handed over to them but refused to say who I owed. I told him I wasn’t going to share any more info until I’d had a proper look into it. The so-called “security questions” were just asking for my full name, which he then used to access some “records.” Felt really dodgy to me.3 yearsI got a call from some place called Buy Mobiles UK, saying they had a great deal on a phone contract with any network. The EE folks told me it was a scam after I’d already given them loads of details like my bank stuff and address.
