I’ve just had a rather dodgy call, claiming to be able to sort a refund of over £3000 due to some bank fraud nonsense! They were rather vague about which bank it was but insisted a person would drop by to hand over forms for a cheque and verify who you are. The chap had an accent reminiscent of an Indian fellow but supposedly hailing from London. To be honest, it seemed as though he had all the right answers lined up for any queries, leaving no room for doubt. Quite an amusing character, really! It’s laughable how they tried to manipulate my partner. Honestly, it’s high time the authorities stepped in and rounded these blokes up, sending them off to some remote island prison for a few years. Hitting their companies with hefty fines wouldn’t go amiss either! That’s surely the only way to rid ourselves of these pestilent individuals!

I got a call from an Asian lady who said she was with National Debt Recovery. I told her I knew about the laws she was breaking, and she quickly said sorry and hung up. After reading the other comments, I'm thinking this might be a scam trying to trick people out of their money.

No clue who it was. When I checked the number, it looked like it came from Sheffield. Tried calling back but the number wasn’t valid. Best to just ignore and block!

I got a call from some guy claiming to be from the National Debt Helpline. When I asked him why he was ringing me, he just went quiet and then hung up. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I received a phone call earlier today from a woman of Asian descent, who identified herself as being from a debt recovery agency. I have my suspicions that this could potentially be a scam aimed at tricking people into handing over their details. Best to stay cautious!

I picked up my mobile, only to be greeted by utter silence on the other end of the line. I tried saying "hello?" a couple of times, but got no response, so I ended up hanging up. It's a complete mystery who might be trying to reach me.

Not completely sure! I think it could be someone I know from Sheffield, but I wasn't certain about the phone number. When I called it back, the number didn’t come up on the system, so I decided to just block it.
