Got a call from 01143560004 earlier claiming to be from Currys PC World. Bit odd as I’ve never shared my phone number with them. I asked who they wanted and they just said my number’s on some database. I wasn’t having it and gave them a piece of my mind before hanging up. Tried ringing back and it’s just a recorded message saying, ‘Hi, thanks for calling Expert Developers. Press 1 to talk to someone or press 3 to hang up.’ Seems like a total scam to me.

This bloke had some funny accent, kept going on about how my phone was with Virgin. It aint, and he was saying EE and Virgin are one and the same! Totally not true. I just let him carry on about all these deals and how I could save a load. Then I told him it's a work phone, so I don't decide who pays the bill. He hung up pretty quick after that :D

Got a call on my mobile, and the display showed 'POSSIBLE FRAUD'. Picked up, but all I could hear was loads of talking in the background like a call centre. They just hung up straight away. I've blocked the number now.

Once they caught on to the fact that I was simply toying with them, they rang me back from 0114 356 0017 and then 0114 356 0004, becoming quite aggressive. However, I just spoke over them loudly without pausing until they eventually ended the call!
