Got a call from 01143560004 earlier claiming to be from Currys PC World. Bit odd as I’ve never shared my phone number with them. I asked who they wanted and they just said my number’s on some database. I wasn’t having it and gave them a piece of my mind before hanging up. Tried ringing back and it’s just a recorded message saying, ‘Hi, thanks for calling Expert Developers. Press 1 to talk to someone or press 3 to hang up.’ Seems like a total scam to me.

This bloke had some funny accent, kept going on about how my phone was with Virgin. It aint, and he was saying EE and Virgin are one and the same! Totally not true. I just let him carry on about all these deals and how I could save a load. Then I told him it's a work phone, so I don't decide who pays the bill. He hung up pretty quick after that :D

Its a total scam, they ring up saying you can get 30% off your O2 bill. Then they put your phone number on the O2 site and just ask for your security code. That’s how they get O2 to send you a text, but never ever share that code with them!
