I found a new trick for dealing with these annoying callers - since they dont really have your info, just pretend youre only 16 and say you shouldn’t be on their list. If they wanna talk to your parents, just say you live in a care home. Its kinda fun messing with them like this!

Got three missed calls today from Utilita Energy. A Scottish lady called, asked for me by name, then wanted to know how my prepay meter was going. (We actually pay every three months.) I told her we don’t use a prepay meter. She then said paying the way I do is more expensive and suggested I get one of their prepay meters fitted. I told her to call back tomorrow as I was busy, then ended the call and blocked the number.
