Got a call from someone claiming to be my energy provider, asking for my bank info. Definitely a scam, watch out and don't give them anything!

Got a call from someone pretending to be from British Gas, trying to trick me into giving my bank info. They said my payment hadn’t gone through and needed my details again to fix it. I immediately knew it was dodgy since I’m actually with Eon, not British Gas. Once I said that, the bloke got really hostile and even started threatening me. Seriously, don’t pick up or get involved with this number. They’re up to no good and could cause real problems.
