The person on the other end said they were with a company called Utility - sounds like what some others mentioned about new gas and electric meters. They actually gave me a choice to stop their calls, which I gladly accepted. Hopefully, it means no more phone calls now.

Got a voicemail claiming to be from the Royal Bank, saying I needed to have my account details and PIN ready to sort out an issue. Thing is, I never even contacted them, plus I don’t have an account with that bank at all. The message ended abruptly when it got to the first choice out of four. Definitely looks like a scam, and anyone thinking of calling back and sharing their info should be super careful. Banks would never ask for that kind of stuff over the phone like that.
