Got a call from this number around 10:14 this morning. There was complete quiet on the line, followed by that weird ‘whoop’ noise when they answered - classic sign of a cold caller, if you ask me. I got a call from someone saying they were from an energy company and they wanted to know who my supplier was. But the minute I began answering, they just cut me off. Even if they were genuine, I wouldn’t trust a company that treats customers that way.

I've been getting calls from this number a lot recently. I chatted with someone from ESP Energy earlier and they claimed they could save me £8 compared to my current supplier. I mentioned I'd rather check prices myself and asked them to ring me back the next day. The bloke sounded a bit touchy and insisted I didn't have to, as he’d already done the comparison. When I said I'd still have a look, he just abruptly ended the call. Not blocked though.
