Got a call from someone who said they were from Sky, said there's a £200 refund waiting. They wanted all sorts of info like my date of birth before doing anything. Felt off to me.

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent saying she was from Virgin, saying I was owed £200 because of some technical glitch. Normally I’d hang up quick but we’ve had some issues lately so I kept her on the line a bit longer. Then she asked for my date of birth so I told her to just email the refund info instead, as Virgin already have all that stuff on file. It’s just odd, why would Virgin ring up existing customers about refunds? They’d just credit your account and inform you. Makes me think it’s definitely not Virgin!

Got a call from some Asian guy claiming to be with Sky. He called me “Miss ##H####” but I’m actually a Mr. What a muppet. Ended the call straight away.

The individual on the line struggled to articulate in English but claimed his name was David. It's absolutely dreadful how they target the vulnerable elderly. I'm exhausted from having to reassure my elderly mother that these phone calls are nothing but scams designed to extract her banking information.

Got a call from this number out of the blue. When I answered, no one spoke - just silence. Tried calling back but no luck, went straight to voicemail. Feels like one of those random spam calls or maybe a telemarketer trying to get through. Not sure if I dodged a nuisance or missed something important. Definitely fishy though.

Received a call that claimed to be from Sky, stating I was owed a refund of £202.00. I mentioned I suspected it was a scam, and they kindly provided me with the legitimate Sky contact number: 020 7032 2000. Since I believe my Sky account is up to date and accurately charged, I'm fairly certain it was indeed a fraudulent call.
