Got a couple of calls from 01142125412 today but ignored them. Left a voicemail about customs and excise stuff. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

I got a call from a woman saying she was from hmrc, telling me to ring a denis grey at 0114 212 5412. The message said something about urgent action if I didn’t phone back. sounded real dodgy and like a scam to me. seriously, don’t bother calling that number!

Had a horrible call from some lot threatening me, saying if I don’t get in touch with them, there’ll be consequences. Bloody HMR collectors or whatever they call themselves - these people are just pests and should be kicked out, sent right back to wherever they’re from!

these calls are really getting on my nerves. every now and then, the caller shows up as unknown, other times it says united states. from what i've dug up online, it looks like it’s some kind of automated alert from my local school board.

BEWARE: Just received a voicemail claiming to be from HM Revenue and Customs. The voice sounded robotic and the language used was quite shoddy.
VERY SUSPECT, likely a scam. I've blocked the number.

I got an automated voicemail from a woman with an American accent, saying some HMRC bloke called “David Grey” wants to talk to me urgently. They said I should ring back straight away or my solicitor should. After quick googling the name, it looks like a con to get you panicked into thinking you owe a big £££ sum! Definitely a scam, watch out.

Got a call from a robotic lady claiming to be Dennis Grey from HMRC. She said it was really urgent and told me not to ignore it, to ring back on that same number. I just blocked the number and reported it straight away.

i got this automated message claiming to be from hm revenue, said something about contacting them or your lawyer quickly cos it’s urgent. my mate fell for it and lost almost £2,000. i had the call come through on me twice today. definitely best to ignore it.

Sketchy call here: didn’t pick up like some others mentioned, but got a voicemail with a robotic voice saying it was HMRC. The way they spoke was really dodgy and sounded like a threat. Definitely a scam so I blocked the number straight away.
