I received a call supposedly from Yahoo. It appears to be a promotional sales pitch.

I've received a couple of calls from this number, and each time it rings twice before they just hang up. It seems rather obvious that it’s a sales call of some sort, so we’re not inclined to return the call!

Unwanted Call. Absolutely Infuriating. A proper nuisance! A chap named 'Tom' rang me up, wanting to speak with a company director to verify some details about the business. I informed him that was simply not feasible, yet offered him the chance to leave a message. He completely disregarded my offer and insisted on speaking directly with a director again. I reiterated that I could take a message for him, but once again he ignored my suggestion. In the end, he lost his temper and exclaimed, “So you’re not going to connect me with a director?” to which I firmly responded, “No.” He huffed “Bye” and hung up. Such an incredibly pushy and discourteous cold call!

I didn’t get the chance to receive the message, and we lost the call. I’m quite intrigued as to who it could be. When you do try calling back, it says, “the person at extension 5131 isn’t able to take your call at the moment; kindly leave a message.”

I received a call from someone purporting to be from Yahoo, insisting it wasn’t a sales pitch. Even after I tried to hang up, they stubbornly remained on the line. Utterly pathetic!
