Got a call from this number earlier, but I didn’t answer. I heard some folks saying it’s a scam where they claim you’ve been in a car crash or something. Didn’t wanna take any chances, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.

I picked up when they called but then they just ended the call right away.

Got a call from a place called AMS, they wanted to discuss a small car crash that supposedly happened and was likely sorted out already. I told them I haven't been in any accident, so the lady said, "Oh, sorry, must be the wrong number" and then just ended the call. She spoke English quite well but with an accent, and you could hear loads of chatter from other people in the background, like from a busy call centre.
