When I said no the first time, he kept pushing and was pretty rude telling me to listen to him properly. Honestly, I think anyone more vulnerable might feel quite pressured by this. Feels like a scam to me.

This is actually the third time I've heard from them, and each time it's from a different phone number. Feels like someone dodgy has somehow got hold of my details through Safestyle. this bloke had some kind of Yorkshire asian accent, when my partner told him we weren’t interested and ended the call, he rang again right away threatening to send us a bill for wasting his time. i just told him to do what he wanted, then he started getting proper nasty, saying he knew where i lived and was on his way over. i gave him some choice words and said my lads would be around when he showed up. then i just cut the call.

I cut them off quick cos they’re definitely not connected to Safestyle UK. Turns out my info was nicked by a bitter ex-worker back in January and got passed around. Watch out, this is definitely a dodgy scam call.

Even after the gentleman calmly said he wasn’t interested and didn’t want any work, the caller rudely ended the call by slamming the phone down. This wasn’t the first time he’d been bothered either. It’s awful that someone can hound an elderly person like that. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour.

Some bloke saying he's a carpenter or joiner rang me, insisting he'd done some work "close by" just yesterday, mentioning it was "right behind the police station." He gave the name David this time, but I told him I wasn’t interested in chatting further. Then, only a couple minutes later, he tried ringing again, but I ignored it. He somehow already knew my name, but that was the only thing I confirmed since I had a gut feeling this might be a scam or something dodgier. Either way, I reckon it’s quite suspicious and maybe even risky.

Got a call from a bloke claiming his name was Daniel, said he was my builder. I’ve never hired anyone for building work in years, let alone heard of him. Being an older lady, it made me feel a bit uneasy. Told him he’d got the wrong number and ended the call.
