Got a call from those window repair scams again, so I just blocked the number straight away. Hopefully, that’s the end of it now.

They said they were Weathershield and claimed they got my number because they supposedly worked on my house back in 2014, which is totally false. They were dead sure they were right about the repairs, even though I told them otherwise. When I told them to remove my info from their records, they got quite rude. I doubt they actually bothered to delete my details, though.

I got a call from a guy claiming to be from Weather Guard, saying he was checking in about a letter they’d supposedly sent me. Problem is, I never got any letter. Still, he knew my name, that I own the house, and that my double glazing is over a decade old. He was trying to book a quick 15 minute inspection for my windows. I just said no cheers and ended the call.

March 13th, 2024. Someone rang me up and said they were from Weatherguard, even knew my name. I asked for a callback number and they said 0800 433 7860. Both 0113 834 3835 and 0800 433 7860 seem dodgy to me.

Got a missed call from this number. Normally I just ignore calls like that, but every now and then I'll pick up in case it’s something urgent. Sad thing is loads of folks don’t have caller ID or still answer anyway thinking it’s important. It’s really awful how some people have no shame scamming others to steal personal info and maybe even cash. Don’t know how they sleep at night doing that.
