This morning (5/10/22) I received a cold call from 01138 331266. The man was hard to make out, but I did hear something about insurance. He mentioned the company's name, but I missed it. In the background, there were the typical noises you get from a call centre. Oddly, the number actually showed up on 1471, which doesn't usually happen with cold calls like this. Honestly, I’d say it was mainly a waste of time, but it could easily be a scam. I don’t understand why anyone would bother dealing with these sorts of calls.

They said they were selling insurance, but we're registered on the TPS list so this lot are basically operating outside the law. And honestly, I doubt they're really selling anything since the number isn't even listed anywhere.
