I got a call from a lady who said she was ringing from some kind of "register," but she kept throwing out abbreviations I didn't understand at all. She already had my private phone number, plus my full name, the company I work for and even my work email. She was offering to send me a "technical report" or something like that and wanted to record our conversation. I told her to erase all my details from their system and to never call me again.
