Someone rang me up saying they weren’t trying to sell me anything or ask for money, just wanted to make sure my life insurance was up to date. They mentioned some changes in the law and COVID stuff from last year but the whole explanation was really unclear and didn’t add up. They kept pushing for me to confirm personal details, which I obviously didn’t do. Still, makes me wonder how they even got my info in the first place.

Got a call earlier today from this number, caller ID said Leeds, and they insisted on chatting about some crash I was supposedly involved in. Told them I haven’t really driven much at all, especially over the last few months with lockdown, so no accidents for me. They then said they check incidents from the past 18 months or so. Still, I’m sure I’ve had no accidents. Asked them to remove me from their list and stop phoning me. My advice: don’t even bother talking to them.
