One of these enterprises happens to be a window fitting service, whose representative visited me for a quote on refurbishing my windows. Ever since, I’ve been receiving frequent calls on my mobile from them. I picked up one of their calls and took the opportunity to explain that the quoted amount of £6,000 for just three windows was a bit steep, especially since my circumstances had changed drastically. Unfortunately, I’m no longer employed due to a cancer diagnosis. Despite sharing this personal situation, they continue to ring me, seemingly unfazed by my predicament.
