Got a dodgy phone call the other day saying it was from Virgin Media or o2, said I needed a new SIM card to get better 5G signal around here. They asked for my email to send some sort of verification code. I didn’t trust it and checked with o2 myself - turns out it was a scam. The caller had a female voice with a strong South East Asian accent. Reported the whole thing to Action Fraud UK just to be safe.
