Somebody said they were from BT and told me that I’d have to change to a new phone company if I wanted to keep my landline, as BT were going to turn off my service. That’s not true at all - BT isn’t cutting off lines, they’re just changing the landlines over to VoIP technology.

I got a call saying they were from 3, saying I could get 30% off my contract. Then they asked how much I was paying right now. If it was really 3, wouldn’t they already have that info? Felt dodgy and like a scam to me.
