The caller pretended to be from EE, suggesting they had a special deal for me. However, when I mentioned I wasn't actually an EE customer, they aggressively told me to "sod off" and abruptly ended the call. Quite unprofessional, I'd say!

Got a call from this number but decided not to pick up, and they didn’t leave any voicemail. Heard from others that it might be someone pretending to be O2, which seems odd since I left O2 ages ago. I’d have thought under GDPR my info would’ve been wiped, so no idea how they got hold of my number.

I picked up a ring from a number I didn’t recognise, and a guy with an Asian accent said he was calling from O2. There was loads of background noise, so I told him I couldn’t make out what he was saying. He then said he’d ring back from somewhere quieter, so I ended the call. About ten minutes afterwards, the same number called me again and this time they were saying I’d been picked to have my bill lowered to £20 a month. I just hung up straight away and put that number on my block list.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, but it was just a scam. I told O2 about it, but they said they couldn’t help much. They actually said the only real way to stop these calls is to change to another phone company. Apparently, O2 knows some customer info has been leaked online, which is why these dodgy calls keep happening.

I've just had another one of those dodgy calls masquerading as O2. I reached out to O2 about it, and their response was rather disheartening-they can't really help. They advised that if I want to steer clear of such calls, my best bet would be to switch to another mobile network altogether. It seems they’re cognizant of the fact that customer information is floating around online, which is why these fraudsters are targeting their users. Quite infuriating, really!

So, on Friday 25th August at about 4.13pm, this number 1135345017 rang me. My phone flagged it as a possible scam, so I just ignored it. But then, it rang back right away, this time pretending to be EE, using the same number, saying I had a voicemail waiting. I wasn't having any of it, so I blocked the number straight away and cleared the call from my phone.

If you pick up that number, be careful. I think they're testing if you'll respond so they can hit you up with more scam calls later on. Better to just ignore it altogether.

I got a call saying they’d cut my bill for the next six months. But when they asked for my info, I said it sounded fishy, like a scam or something. Then they sent me a text with EE’s logo to try and prove they were legit. Honestly, I just ended the call right there.

Got a call from an Indian bloke claiming I could get 40% off my 02 bill. I played along and said fab, then got a couple of texts that looked pretty legit from 02. They asked me to send back a code, so I replied with "Go #### Yourself". Not a peep back from them after that! Obviously not the answer they were after. Then they just went quiet and hung up on me.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent saying they were from O2, asking if my 5G card had arrived. I told them I was tied up and couldn’t chat, then ended the call. Right after, I got a text that looked legit, claiming to be from O2, with a one-time password. Watch out, because they use the proper language and even mention a scam alert, but there’s a tiny spelling mistake that gives them away.

I answered the call but stayed silent for a bit. Then this Asian guy started talking, claiming he was from O2 and asking if I’d gotten my discount vouchers. I told him I hadn't been with O2 for like 15 years and asked him to remove me from their contacts. Before I could even finish, he just started shouting 'bye' at me like mad and slammed the phone down right away.
