I’m convinced this is just another scam. Got a message saying it was from HSBC (never been my bank) telling me they’re doing an online transaction for more than £300 at ASDA. If I didn’t approve it or know anything about it (which I definitely don’t), they want me to ring a certain number. I can see how older or more vulnerable folks could fall for this, and I dread to think what happens if someone actually calls them! Bloody nightmare.
