Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise today. As usual, I let it go to voicemail. There was no message, so I just blocked the number straight away. My advice? Don’t bother calling back unknown numbers - it could be a dodgy premium rate scam and might end up costing you a fortune (worth googling!). If it’s something important, they’ll try again or leave a voicemail. If they don’t bother, it probably wasn’t anything urgent anyway. Better safe than sorry! :)

The message was really well done, sounded so real and replied just like a person would. I’ve never heard anything like it before. But after a while I got it stuck going round in circles, which showed it wasn’t a real person. It was some kind of scam about energy, asking me to do an inspection of my loft because apparently the insulation I supposedly have is dangerous for your health, according to the British Lung Foundation.
