I’ve just received a message purporting to be from Santander, which includes a one-time passcode for a transaction to Exodus. If this payment wasn't initiated by me, it urged me to click on the phone number link 01135 184702. Seems rather dodgy to me!

This number rang me up today and it was really pushy, same as a couple of times last week. The bloke sounded like one of those call centre lads, and when I asked if he was actually calling from Google, he got proper rude and just cut me off. Would watch out if I were you!

As a retiree, I must admit that I find scams quite concerning. It’s unsettling to think about the tricks some people utilize to exploit others.

I received a dodgy text from this number, claiming to be from the fraud team at Santander. They were trying to convince me that someone had registered a new device for online banking on my account, which is quite laughable since I don’t even have an account with them! Clearly, it was nothing more than a scam.

Got a text from Santander with a one-time code about collecting a parcel, something like 184702. Then they say I need to pay Tessuti £728? That’s definitely not for me. I’ve already handed over the phone number they gave me. The number they used was 01135. Seems dodgy to me.

I got a text out of the blue from 96587, containing a One Time Passcode for Nationwide-strange considering I don’t even hold an account with them! It mentioned a purchase for £752 on Amazon, which is certainly news to me. The message concluded with a prompt, asking, "NOT you? Call 0113 5184702." Just goes to show how dodgy things can get!
