Got a call about five minutes ago saying I'd won over £5500 from a PPI claim. I cut them off straight away, told them I've never made any PPI claim cos I never paid for it in the first place. Then warned I'd report them for harassment if they kept ringing and demanded they take my number off their list before I ended the call. How do they reckon it's okay to try and scam folks like this?

I kept saying I don’t have any claim with them, but they still insisted. I asked why my info was showing up on their screen if I didn’t have a claim. Then they tried to get my bank info, which I refused to give. They told me they’d sent a letter, so I said I’d wait to get that before sharing any details. Honestly, this felt like a proper dodgy scam.

Someone just rang me but I didn't pick up, probably a dodgy call. If I'm not waiting for anyone, I never pick up unless I recognise the number. Can't trust any of these calls nowadays.

Received a call meant for someone else. It was quite obvious that it was an unsolicited pitch - especially with the long pause before they even connected. I mentioned I’d fetch “Mr Jenkins” but then just let it sit there, wasting their time instead. Ended up dragging it out for nearly three minutes. There's nothing quite like flipping the script on these opportunists! 😊

Unlike some other folks here, they kicked off with a "free energy check" line. Pretty unoriginal if you ask me. I told them nicely to never ring me again. Not harmful but definitely irritating.

Got a call from 01135123946, today around 4.11pm and also on 17th August at 3.53pm. Both times, as soon as I picked up, they just dropped the call after about 10 to 12 seconds. Pretty strange!

i get calls all the time ive blocked the number but they keep ringing me nonstop really annoying this company should be shut down why dont phone companies like bt do something when they control the network? they just ignore it. the calls are about investment properties which i couldnt care less about.

They said I had asked about investment stuff last year. I thought maybe they meant some property I was considering, so I asked which cities they worked in. None of those places were ones I was even thinking of moving to. Honestly, don’t say yes to anything, it’s just spam or a scam.
