I receive calls from various 113 numbers based in Leeds on a daily basis. It's baffling, as every time I answer, there's simply silence or the call gets disconnected. It's a bit frustrating, to say the least! I even tried returning the call, only to be met with an international ringing noise. This has become a persistent nuisance, with as many as 15 calls hitting my phone in just a day. Who would be the appropriate authority to register a complaint with? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming to be from the Covid helpline. I just said "yeah, sure" and ended the call. After checking out the reviews here, it looks like he's involved in loads of different scams.

Curiously, he then wanted to know what medications I was currently on. When I questioned the necessity of that information, he abruptly ended the call. I've since decided to block that number.

Got a call claiming to be from the NHS checking on covid vaccine side effects and some follow up stuff. Then out of nowhere, they started asking if I had life insurance through my job or anywhere else. Tried to fish out who my insurer was and my employer too. When I asked why they were asking all this, the caller just cut me off. The voice sounded like it was an Indian accent. Felt a bit dodgy honestly.

Honestly, just block these lot straight away - they keep ringing from loads of different numbers. Watch out when you pick up! Lately they've claimed to be from Sky TV, but I don’t even have Sky. Then they say Virgin Media, O2, some life insurance, or that you’ve been in a car crash. It’s proper dodgy stuff. They’ve been bothering thousands of people here in Northern Ireland over the past week or so. Be careful, these calls aren’t to be trusted.
