When I rang them back, an automated voice told me to press nine if I wanted to stop calls, but I didn’t want to press any buttons just to be safe. Usually, if they ask for personal details, I make up a name like Wyn D Millar and give an address like The Old Windmill on Trumpton High Street. Sometimes I even say my bank is The Candlewick Building Society - it seems to confuse them quite a bit.
