Got a ring from a number I didn't recognise, but the person never said who they were. No idea who that number could be.

Received a call from someone claiming to be from Legal & General, wanting to confirm that my policy was up-to-date in light of the recent changes regarding organ donation. The caller was a woman and had a noticeable accent.

Got a call from someone saying they were from LV about my life insurance, but I dont have any with them. They ended up hanging up and blocked me straight away. Seems like a total scam to me.

I've received four phone calls from these folks trying to convince me to switch my energy provider to theirs. They keep asking for my bank account details and sort code. When I flat-out refused, the bloke became quite aggressive and reckoned that I’d be forking out £7,000 for my energy bills come October. Unbelievable!
